ROYAL GUARD HEADQUARTERS

As a construction site manager, I was part of the team in charge of constructing the new Royal Guard Headquarters in El Pardo(a location nearby Madrid). Therefore, the principal duties were monitoring and controlling the construction process, reviewing construction details and solving technical problems with subcontractors and the directors of the project, the office Ruiz-Larrea & Asociados.
A BIM model was also developed as a digital twin of the building for the operation and maintenance phases, extracting the information, parameters, bill of quantities, and required documentation from it. Finally, the construction was developed in one and a half years following a tight schedule and strict project management control via simulations of construction phases and avoiding technical problems through BIM models.
